A terrific area for plein air painting. Old Lyme drew the attention of the early American Impressionists because the light in this area so closely resembles that of Provence. We'll employ the 6 important landscape painting techniques to help you make take next "jump" with each painting.
The workshop includes: . Demos in oils daily; individual critiques; one-on-one painting & drawing instruction. . No more than 12 artists. . Beginners to Advanced painters welcome . Workshop fee: $550.00. Payable in full at registration.
Artist is responsible for all travel, meals and lodging expenses. Car recommended.
Groups of 12 - Plan your own Workshop or Paint-out: Special group Workshops available. Select your desired location and dates and we will develop a customized art workshop plan for people who want to travel as a group. We also offer reduced rates for paint-outs, non-instructed programs which involve everyone just painting together. A minimum of 12 people is required.
