This is your plein air landscape painting vacation! Capture Southeast Light and Mohegan's bluffs. Paint sand dunes tumbling into the Atlantic, and picturesque Old Harbor with its Grand Hotels and gingerbread houses - you can't help but fall in love with Block Island!
Located approximately 12 miles off the shores of Rhode Island & Connecticut, Block Island is a treasure trove of delightful Victorian and early New England architecture, lovingly preserved and offering a relaxed laid-back style of elegance recalling by-gone days. The ocean views and quaint streets give the artist a wealth of material to capture on site and to photograph for later projects.
The workshop includes: . Demos in oils daily; individual critiques; one-on-one painting & drawing instruction. . Workshop fee: $550.00. Payable in full at registration. . Artist is responsible for all travel, meals and lodging expenses. . Car recommended. PLEASE NOTE: FERRY RESERVATIONS FOR CARS A MUST
Groups - Plan your own Workshop or Paint-out: Special group Workshops available. Plan you own dates and we will develop a customized art workshop for people who want to travel as a group. We also offer reduced rates for paint-outs, non-instructed programs which involve everyone just painting together. A minimum of 10 people is required for a Block Island Workshop
